PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY
Yağcı-Bulut-Konukpay (“YBK”) Attorney Partnership gives great importance to protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life regulated in Article 20 of the Constitution. In this context, it pays attention to the protection and processing of personal data in accordance with the law and acts with this understanding in all planning and activities.
YBK considers the personal data protection as the basis of protecting the privacy of private life, not only within the scope of compliance with the legislation but also puts the value it gives to people at the basis of its approach. With this awareness, we take all the necessary administrative and technical measures to prevent personal data from being stored and processed illegally.
In this framework, information on the conditions of processing and transfer of personal data generated or shared during the use of the website “www.ybklegal.com“ in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 is provided below.
1. Definitions

Law: Personal Data Protection Law No.6698
Personal Data: All kinds of information of an identified or identifiable natural person.
Online Visitor/Data Subject: All people accessing the Website.
Board: Personal Data Protection Board.
Hosting Provider: Refers to real or legal persons who provide or operate systems that contain services and content in the internet.
2. Personal Data Processed
The personal data of the Online Visitor, depending on access to the Website and the transactions made on the Website, are presented below:
For Online Visitors, only visiting the Website,

3. Purposes of Personal Data Processing
Depending on the transactions of the Online Visitor on the Website;
“Identity and contact information, business title” are being processed in case of contacting activities, in order to carry out communication activities,
“Site traffic information” is being processed in order to carry out information security processes. In accordance with the Law No.5651 and relevant legislation, the Hosting Provider is also obliged to record and store site traffic information.
4. Legal Basis of Processing Personal Data
Personal data are collected by the use of Website and/or contact form by fully automatic or partially automated ways and to be stored for the period required for the purpose of processing.
Personal data are processed based on the legal basis stated in paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law, which are: explicitly stipulated by the laws, it is mandatory in order for YBK to fulfill its legal obligations for the use of Webiste; and processing of data by YBK is mandatory for its legitimate interests for contacting activities.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Personal data might be transferred to public institutions upon request, limited to the purposes specified in the Article 3 of this Notice, if any of the conditions specified in paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law are fulfilled.
6. Rights of Data Subject
According to the Article 11 of the Law, data subjects have rights below:
to learn whether his/her personal data are processed or not,
to demand for information as to if his/her personal data have been processed,
to learn the purpose of the processing of his/her personal data and whether these personal
data are used in compliance with the purpose,
to know the third parties to whom his personal data are transferred in country or abroad,
to request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any,
to request the erasure or destruction of his/her personal data
to request reporting of the operations carried out to third parties to whom his/her personal data have been transferred,
to object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems,
claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of his/her personal data.
